Another public holiday

Apparently someone’s getting married. It happens every day, but for some reason they’re giving us a day off work for this couple. A William and Kate somebody. Not sure why it’s so special but I’ll enjoy a rest in the sun and a break from the office.
As long as they don’t expect a present!

FFF55 is a weekly challenge to write something in exactly 55 words. If you'd like to see more, hop over to the G-Man's blog at Mr Knowitall, where you'll find lots of goodies!

I've just tried the Beeb - far too gushing & sentimental. Bring back whatisname I say!

I'm determined to avoid it if I can. Maybe take a peek at the dress later. But that's absolutely it!

Would David Dimbleby be the name you're thinking of, Sandra Davis? He was pass master at at presenting state occasions... I shall be enjoying every minute, once the big-wigs start arriving...

Or even Richard Dimbleby! (Sorry - But I'm old enough to remember him)

You didn't get an invitation then?

Me neither. ;)

lolss

The TOI (newspaper) today says how dopplegangers have made a fake show altogether!! I was appalled to say the least.

These look-alikes post videos whereby people wanting to take a peek in their life would keep staring at fakes!

Friday hugs xxx

I suspect they are getting more than enough gifts.

Cute 55

I think they should spend less money on the whole thing.

that is all

There are crazy people here in the US who broadcast it live at 2 AM, and crazier ones that watched it. Surprise--the dress is white. ;_)

I think that they're covered for gifts!

Will be catching the highlights in the evening news, I'm sure. Have not tuned in to this at all by choice, but I have not escaped the stealth apeparance of their faces online either.

Good, relatable piece.

AJ...
I'm personally sick of the whole thing.
But if YOU like it then....
Royal 55!
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

A nice 55, but I think around 2 billion people seemed to disagree. One citizen of the large nation across the pond complained that it was stupid of them to have the wedding so late at night. Why could they have not have held it at a sensible time?

Since I don't, normally, EVER watch TV I had avoided all build-up, so was able to genuinely enjoy the whole thing from 10.30 to 12.30.
And yes it was Richard Dimbleby I was thinking of - all I had in my head was David Attenborough, who I knew was gorillas so couldn't be right!
