An advent calendar of sorts Day 9. (Also a FFF55)
Fifty five words of seasonal thoughts. What are the essential ingredients for this time of year? Turkey, mistletoe, pork pie, presents, egg-nog, tree, baubles, lights, mince pies, candles, cheesy songs, cranberries, crackers, paper chains, pudding,
stocking fillers, trifle, a pair of socks, wrapping paper, chocolate coins, wine, energy and patience!
So, have I forgotten anything?

Hi Anne .. I know you've mentioned Wassail elsewhere, holly, stuffing, Carols by Candlelight .. so many traditions and way too many for G-Man's FFF55 ... Happy rest of Advent .. cheers Hilary
Wassail's on the list. I don't know if I've done holly and stuffing though. I still have a couple of gaps in the month - thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Anne .. sorry thought you meant this list .. haven't checked out everything .. I'm working backwards!
Cheers Hilary
Hi Hilary... I've got too many lists on the go haven't I? Wassail is down for Dec 20 on the advent calendar (of sorts). But don't let the secret out :)
Hi Anne .. I thought you'd done one on Wassail - I made a note for my Conversations with the residents up at the Home ..
Ok - how about chipolatas, cranberries, Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols ... Wreaths on doors, Good King Wenceslas ...
Cheers - lovely and sunny down here .. Hilary
You got it covered as far as I'm concerned.
Most excellent Yule Tide 55
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
you had me at egg nog...one of my fav things of the season...esp egg nog lattes...have a wonderful season yourself
You got it- I just wish I could get to wrapping the presents! thanks-
Church? Nativity? Snow? Candy canes? Presents?
(I could go on, but I suppose it was actually a rhetorical question)
A good book in your Christmas present pile, and a Christmas book to read in the lead up to the event :)
Turkey and pudding...yummy list for the holidays...thanks for the reminder...happy weekend ~
I'll check my list! The last 3 are my favorites, wine energy and patience! hahaha - Merry Christmas!
All very good things and I think I need a few extra doses of the patience :)
This is adorable. I'd like to add sleep to the list as I don't get enough of it at this time of year.
