Better late than never, my mother always said. On the other hand she was always very angry if we were so much as a minute overdue for anything. Makes a child very confused. Just what am I supposed to do? It also created a permanently guilty adult.
My 55 words are late.
No excuse.
Sorry.

A superb 55! So true too but again, in Malaysia, it is called fashionably late. LOL So if you are attending a FORMAL dinner , make sure you have something to eat first as everyone else will be fashionably late. I love your 55! As for being guilty, you should not for 55 as your 55 was worth waiting for!!! Have you a blessed weekend. hugs shakira

AJ...
Never apologize to me again!!!
I think that the excitement of The Olympics knocked your days out of whack!
Loved your 55
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
Great 55 words!!
That's what parents do to us, isn't it. Nice 55.
You could ink this to Theme Thursday this week - their word was 'Confusion'! Nice 55
but you are here...and welcome...always good to see you...late or otherwise...smiles...happy friday...i hope you have a marvelous weekend!
Oh, I had that same kind of mom! Gotta love 'em :o) Nice post (and mine was even later than yours - these days I refer to myself as fashionably late).
Good 55. But there is late, late and late.
Late for a party is socialy accepted, late for an international flight is no so good and late as in 'the late mr smith', is even worse unless you inherit. What a funny language is English...
Who cares if it's late, you did it! :)
Hi Morning AJ - fun FF55 ... my mother was always correcting me - saying you'll be longer than that - when I said I'd be a minute or two ... and do what you need to - don't leave it! She knew what life was about til the end ...
Cheers Hilary
