Is it Friday again already?
There’s something about the eventual arrival of Spring weather after a long and miserable winter that brings out the best and the worst in people. I’ve seen how everyone has a happier expression and they are smiling at each other again. But have you noticed how awful their pasty skin looks in such bright light?

Aaargh 'pasty skin' - have you been checking my reflection in the mirror as I have?! That's my excuse for sitting in the grden for an hour or so every day, reading of course.
I cheat - I've got a moisturiser that turns me brown. (and I lighten my hair to enhance the effect)
I'se not pasty. But I is wrinkled!
Nice ain't it. My tanometer (watch band line) is becoming harder to see against the ever paler skin.
I've managed to get a tan in the garden this week! :)

I had trouble posting comments earlier so I'm back to try again.
The pasty skin looks yucky but still much better than the burned-to-a-crisp leathered skin of the sun worshipers, skin that looks like it's ready to be hung on the shed.
I hope April ushers in warmer weather!
Come Fall, my skin will STILL be pasty, even if I've been out in the sun. I refuse to worry about it.

Honestly, the older I get, the less I like the look of really tanned skin. I tell teenage girls they look better when not so tan... but I'm SURE they think I'm just jealous... :)
